SuMmErtime YUm....

Nothing says summer to me more then some YUMMY lemonade.....
Strawberry Lemonade to be exact, so today we are going to make some!!
I love to try different recipes in search of a favorite so here are some we are going to give a whirl!!

Strawberry Lemonade

2 bottles(59oz.) simply lemonade

2 lemons sliced in rings and seeded

2 lbs. strawberries or raspberries

1-1/4 cup sugar

Pour 2 bottles of lemonade in pitcher

Slice lemons and set aside

Hull strawberries and stir in sugar and let sit 2 hours at room temp.

Then place 1/2 strawberries in blender and blend til liquid.

~repeat with rest of strawberries~

Strain to remove seeds

Stir in strawberry puree with lemonade and stir....

add sugar to taste if needed.

 Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

 2 cups ice cubes

1 cup water

1 (6 oz.) frozen lemonade concentrate

5 Large Strawberries hulled

Place ice cubes, water and lemonade in blender.

Process until ice is finely blended.

Add Strawberries and puree...taste and adjust flavors to desired taste!
