We discovered FROSTiE Rootbeer this summer when we stopped at our local ice cream shoppe FARR's  for a RooTBeeR Float.....
I totally fell in LOVE with the  Vintage GLass Bottles it comes in!!
These would be so fUn for a Winter Themed party or a Tasty treat left out for SAnTa....

SiLLy WiLLey(our elf on the shelf) has been up to some shenanigans this season.....
Here is what we have caught him doing each morning when we go in search of him....

Flying Kites!! OOOps Silly Willey got his Kite caught in the branch decor in the living room!

Apparently Syrup is part of the Basic food groups for elves....

Making snowmen on the counter top in the kitchen.

Here he is reading an American Girl doll book.....

And finally,  we caught him in the bathtub with a couple of  Mermaids taking swim Lessons!!

Gingerbread VS. Chocolate ??

Okay ,so my kids LoVe to make gingerbread houses at Christmastime...  
This year however I was thinking there has got to be more then just the same old gingerbread house out there....
I wondered if you could make them out of something else YUmMy....
WELL Good news I found these molds you can use for not only gingerbread but CHOCOLATE as well  !!  Can you imagine a Ch0CoLaTe  house!!  YUMMY!  These molds are made from silicone so the chocolate pops right out!!  Fun Right??

It's Time to pull out the Dutch ShOes!!

It's that time again!!  Time to pull out the Dutch Wooden shoes and wait for Sinter Klaas! 
I always look forward to this tradition with my kids, it's a great opportunity to talk about our ancestors and remember where we came from.  You can read more about our traditions Here and HERE
