SasS'in up the RainBoOTs!
Okay....i love rain boots....especially this time of year!! I had a pair that was just plain and i thought they could use a little something extra! So I called my brother and had him cut me some 1" circles from vinyl and I put them on my boots!
Check it out!
Check it out!
Before....kinda boring.....
Much better Right??
I loved this because when I get tired of this pattern I can take these polka dots off and put something else on .....I was thinking my next pair is going to be Chevron pattern. So many possibilities with this!
I also added this rain resistant flower .....I made it out of a broken umbrella. It can handle any water that comes it's way!
**If you decide to try this on your own use good quality vinyl so that these stick really well to your boots!

HaPpY BiRthDay R.S. !!
Well....I haven't been a very good blogger lately but I will try a little harder to be a little better!
I have been busy with all kinds of things....
One of the things that I have been busy with is helping put together the Celebration Birthday party of the Relief Society!
I was in charge of decor....
What a challenge that can be with hardly no budget!
I thought I would share what I came up with in case some of you out there are in charge of your celebration party.

The night we held our R.S. Party it was a Blizzard outside....but inside it looked quite colorful and Spring-like!
Because of a limited budget I had to come up with a lot of paper product decor.
The all famous Tissue paper Poms are always good for big impact!
And fUn Balloons.....because what birthday party is complete without Balloons.
I love to use fun shaped balloons.
Here you can see the centerpiece is just more paper...
Pinwheels...attached to pencils.
more tissue paper Pom Poms and doily flowers with coffee filter centers.
The flower buckets were from Target dollar spot $ 2.50 each!
Party favor cupcakes. YuM!
I wrapped an empty box for our dessert pedestal. Matching wrapping paper is a cheap and easy way to add to the party decor.
We placed the cupcakes in clear cups and wrapped them in cellophane so they didn't get smooshed.
The party garland I made with leftover napkins, doilies from the Dollar Tree and dental floss for the string!! WoW! Now that is Thrifty!
Hope this gives you ideas for your celebration's!
